Job Description:

Do you have a mind for stats and data? Do you love social media? We are looking for a social media analyst to work across our portfolio of sports clients. An exciting opportunity has opened up to drive growth across our portfolio of sports, entertainment and gaming clients. 

The ideal candidate will have an excellent knowledge of social media platforms, as well as a passion for data and analysis. A keen interest in a range of sports is also highly beneficial. The role suits a digital analyst, or social media manager with an interest in analytics and strategy. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • To execute Digital Intelligence Reports (Social Media Platforms, Online data) by compiling, analyzing, and interpreting data & generating client reports and presentations
  • Read / Analyses of data from dashboards to provide brand and category insights
  • Support Social Media Managers in understanding consumer (followers) behavior for focused content marketing strategies
  • Benchmarking against market leaders & tracking trends
  • Creating and presenting information in the form of decks to internal and external stakeholders
  • Quantitative and qualitative market research and analysis
  • Forecasting growth
  • Contributing to business development pitches 
  • Interventions and insights to drive client growth
  • Integrating with the Social Media Management and Audience Development teams


  • 2-4 years of relevant work experience. Work experience of a digital/ media agency or company is beneficial.
  • Degree level education
  • Analytical mind with high level of numeracy.
  • Ability to present data in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new trends in video and social media
  • Ability to influence stakeholders at both EDP and clients using analytics to deliver positive interventions
  • Takes ownership of tasks in a fast paced environment and show initiative
  • Experience with identifying the target audience, its trends and preferences
  • Ability to multitask while working in a dynamic team environment
  • Strong verbal as well as written communication skills
  • Exceptional time-management and organizational skills
  • A keen eye for details


  • Knowledge of social analytics such as Google Analytics, Facebook/Twitter/YouTube Insights etc
  • Working knowledge of social listening or content analysis tools
  • Broad knowledge of a wide variety of video and social platforms including YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, TikTok & Snapchat
  • Whilst not essential, some understanding of content publishing is very helpful for this role
  • Passion for sports and or gaming
  • Previous experience at a digital media company/agency preferred


  • Able to perform under pressure and to work to tight timescales, as well as manage multiple projects
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Salary dependent on experience
  • Flexible work ethic, work may require occasional travel or weekend work
